Pack 305

Edmonds, WA

About Us

Pack 305 is a very active Cub Scout Pack serving 30-40 boys and girls from Kindergarten to 5th grade. We meet at either Seaview Elementary School or Edmonds City Park, and our member families are primarily from Edmonds, Lynnwood, and Mountlake Terrace, WA. Our scouts mostly attend Seaview Elementary, St. Thomas More School, College Place Elementary, Lynndale Elementary, Holy Rosary, and Cedar Park, though we welcome everyone! We are chartered in Washington state under the Mount Baker Council of BSA.

What We Do

Dens meet individually once or twice a month to complete age-specific "Den Adventures." The entire pack gets together monthly during the school year. While each year holds some variation, below are just a few the Pack Level activities that we do annually.

Reptile man at pack meeting

September: Kick Off

We often have a guest speaker attraction (like the Reptile Man!) and orientation for the year

Fishing during camping trip

October: Family Camping

We do an overnight camping trip to the Fire Mountain Scout Camp in Mt Vernon.

Halloween activity

October: Trunk or Treat

All the pack families decorate the back of their cars, and the kids go "Trunk or Treating" to each car

Scouts racing boats

November: Rain Gutter Regatta

Each November we build recycled material boats and race them!

Santa visits pack 305

December: Skit Night

Each Den performs a skit for the Pack, and there's even a special visitor who brings presents (the pinewood derby cars to be assembled for January)

Pinewood derby

January: Pinewood Derby

One of everyone's favorite cub scout events happens in January. Build and race your pinewood derby car!

Dinner decorations

Feb: Blue and Gold Dinner

Another highlight of the year is a Pot luck dinner celebrating scouting

Crossover ceremony at sunset

March: Crossover

The annual ceremony in which our Webelos 2 scouts graduate into Boy Scouts

Plant seedlings

April: Earth Day Activity

Each year we do a different service project in celebration of earth day

Two bottle rockets ready for launch

May: Bottle Rockets

We make bottle rockets and shoot them into the Stratosphere!

At the end of the school year, all of the scouts graduate to the next level.
